Liebster Award | Black & Gold



I have very kindly been nominated for the Liebster award by the lovely Beth from Beth Does Beauty, Fashion and Life.. ! Thank you Beth :)  

If you haven't heard of the Liebster Award before, it is an award that is given to up and coming bloggers with under 200 followers that the nominator feels deserves recognition and support. The blogger nominated is asked to share 11 facts about themselves, answer 11 questions set by the nominator and set 11 questions for the 11 bloggers that they will then nominate for the award! It's a lovely idea and is great for introducing people to great new blogs!
The Rules:
- You must post 11 random facts about yourself
- You must then answer 11 questions sent to you by the blogger who nominated you
- Create a new set of 11 questions and tag 11 of your favourite blogs with under 200 followers
- Let those bloggers know that you have nominated them and don't tag back!


 My 11 Facts!

1. I'm 21 years old, and have the same birthday as Harry Potter!
2. I am in my third and final year of university studying graphic design. 
3. I was born and raised and still live in the South of England!
4. I am an only child.
5. Whilst at uni, I worked at an events staffing agency and worked at some awesome events all over London, including parties for the photographer Rankin, where I spotted celebs such as Kelly Rowland and Rhys Ifans. It was so fun! I'd recommend it to anyone studying in London. 
6. I'm a total nerd when it comes to fonts. I specialise in typography on my course...that's my only excuse...
7. I want a dog more than life itself, but it will probably be a while til it will be the right time to get one :(
8. I have odd eyes.
9. When I was little I did ballet, character and jazz (which meant wearing some seriously snazzy leotards!)
10. I'm addicted to chocolatey cereal, but trying to eat grown up breakfasts instead (boring)
11. I have size 8 feet...which is huge seeing as I'm only 5"5!

 Beth's Questions! 

 1. Who's your favourite blogger?
Hmm it's hard to decide, but I'd have to go for Anna from Vivianna Does Makeup, I love both her blog and her youtube channel, but I love the writing style on her blog, I genuinely enjoy reading her posts instead of just looking at the pictures!

 2. What's your favourite high street store?
If money was no object I'd shop at Topshop all the time. Seeing as money is an object however, I'd say H&M!

 3. What's your favourite make up brand?
Definitely Rimmel, they have some fantastic products for great prices from foundations to lipsticks!

4. What's your favourite designer?
I don't actually own anything by them, but if I could it would be Acne!

5. If you were stuck on a desert island and could only have 1 item, what would it be?
This is so hard...I wanna say my macbook or iphone but there'd be no signal/internet! 

6. Who's your celebrity crush?
Gosling, without a doubt!

7. Best make up tip you would give someone?
Not really make up tip exactly but I'd say don't overpluck the brows! They can make or break a look and thick, bold brows will always be in. They can be tamed and trimmed, however one hair thin brows are much harder to work with!

8. What's your favourite and least favourite food?
This is hard to choose as it always changes but at the moment I'm aways craving carbonara! My least favourite would be tuna..it smells (and probably tastes) like cat food. Ew. 

9. What do you wish to achieve over the next year?
Graduate with a good grade, get an awesome job and finally get a place with my boyfriend!

10. What's your dream job?
I've been looking at jobs recently and I have to say that working as a graphic designer for Topshop would be amazing!

11. What's your favourite movie?
I really love Drive!

  4. Thank you so much, Laura! I really enjoy your posts, and the answers to your questions were great to read (it's always nice to know more about the voice behind blog!).
